The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is geared towards junior and senior high school students interested in learning more about entrepreneurship as a post-graduation career path. The six-week program is designed to help the students explore their talents and the current market needs to create a viable business model. YEP includes a variety of workshops and events on business topics like creating a business model, pitch decks, real-world entrepreneur meet & greets, and one-on-one advising sessions to refine the participants’ business ideas and presentations.
Students will have an opportunity to present their concept to some of San Antonio’s most influential entrepreneurs as well as the public in a special closing ceremony celebrating their completion of the program. This event is followed by media interviews to highlight the students.
YEP is offered to High Scholl students in the San Antonio area; the students will meet twice a week (Tuesday’s and Thursday’s) for six weeks in the evening from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm CST.
All sessions will be held VIRTUALLY.
Junior and Senior High school students interested in learning more about entrepreneurship as a post-graduation career path. The program is limited to 15- 25 students.
Program fees will be waived for the 2021 cohort.
Application and fees must be submitted no later than Midnight September 24th
